Having a desire and a belief that services could be provided to individuals with mental retardation and related conditions that were high quality and that maintain the dignity of the individuals served, R & L Group, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Raymond E. Carpenter, Jr. (deceased) and Dr. Linda E. Brown. We were the fourth Home and Community Based Service Provider certified by the State in Harris County and have expanded services to include Dallas/Ft Worth and Brenham areas.

R & L Group, Inc. has over 200 full-time employees, most of whom have been with the company for 5 years or more.
